Yakaağzı WPP

Located within the borders of Ağrı Province, the Yakaağzı Wind Power Plant (WPP) was completed in phases between 2021 and 2024, underwent provisional acceptance, and has been put into commercial operation. The project consists of 8 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 33.6 MW.

Construction work is ongoing for the 30 MW Auxiliary Solar Power Plant (SPP) developed as part of the Yakaağzı WPP project. The project’s first phase, with a capacity of 20 MW, received provisional acceptance and was commissioned in December 2024, while construction of the remaining capacity is ongoing.

Upon completion of the Auxiliary Solar Power Plant investment, the total installed capacity of the Yakaağzı Wind Farm will reach 63.6 MW, and its hybrid production structure will ensure higher efficiency and sustainability in renewable energy production.
