Ege WPP
It is Türkiye's first facility to complete acceptance within the scope of a licensed wind power plant with storage (DRES).
Located in the Kemalpaşa district of Izmir, Ege Wind Power Plant is in operation with an installed capacity of 21.2 MWe and is transitioning to a hybrid structure through a capacity increase investment supported by energy storage.
With its integration of wind and energy storage, Ege WPP contributes to Izmir's clean energy transformation.
- It meets the electricity needs of 10,660 people annually.
- It provides approximately 26,610 tons of CO₂e emission reduction every year.
- The 22.7 MW / 26.6 MWh capacity increase investment with energy storage is ongoing.
